Mi9 Retail is expanding its sales team and has 4 Senior Account Executive openings.

On target candidates for these roles will work remotely in any of the following areas: NYC, Boston, Atlanta, New Jersey, California, Colorado or Chicago (Open to all areas but the preferred cities are listed above)

Position overview:

We are looking for a successful Senior Account Executive to sell software solutions into retail accounts across the US. Experience in B2B Retail ERP sales with Tier 1 organizations is required.

What you'll be doing:

  • Build specific territory and account plans to ensure growth of the mi9 business and exceed revenue targets.
  • Continually drive sales pipeline growth needed to exceed $1.5M in sales.
  • Develop strong relationships as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their business initiatives and challenges that align with mi9 solutions. Make the customers successful by understanding their technology footprint, strategies, competitors and industry trends.
  • Advance and close sales opportunities through the successful execution of the territory and opportunity plans. Lead a team of sales resources and provide engagement excellence during all phases of the sales cycle.
  • Present mi9’s solutions in a professional and compelling manner.
  • Understand the competition and effectively position solutions against them to meet or exceed customer needs.
  • Understand Value based selling while identifying ROI data and how they support the customer’s decision making process and criteria.
  • Maximize the value of all sales support ecosystem and ensure your team is well positioned within each account and opportunity.

What you bring to the table:

  • 10+ years large software experience with documented success selling enterprise-level, complex software sales.
  • Previous experience in Retail SCM (supply chain management) solutions, selling to accounts $500M annual revenue and above.
  • Cloud sales experience within Merchandising, SCM, POS and Retail Analytics solutions.
  • Previous attainments of >$2M annual and above.
  • Experience in a team-based selling environment.
  • Fluency in Value based selling and forecasting methodologies such as MEDDIC.
  • Exceptional presentation, facilitation, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel 50% or more within the U.S.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with equivalent experience to be considered.
