Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor and partner to clients, the market, strategic channel partners, and Infusion/Avanade.
  • Build a consistent and predictable sales pipeline in assigned territory and named accounts, which contributes to the exceeding of annual quota targets
  • Lead designated territory, including accounts, account relationships, prospect profiling, and sales cycles
  • Support direct and indirect sales engagements of channel partners (Microsoft, Xamarin, Samsung, MongoDB, Sitecore, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain a vibrant industry ecosystem through an integrated approach to evangelism, communities, partnerships, and intelligent audience marketing
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive business plans to address customer and prospect's priorities and pain points. Use VE, benchmarking, and ROI data to support the customer's decision process
  • Follow a disciplined approach to maintaining a rolling pipeline. Keep pipeline current and moving up the pipeline curve
  • Drive revenue targets, optimize sales productivity, penetration goals, deployment objectives, and customer satisfaction
  • Identify and communicate new industry solutions
  • Drive accountability and ownership of processes around opportunity engagement (handoffs, resourcing, partner attachment, client satisfaction, etc.)
  • Engage in in activities focused in on generating client awareness (may include industry conferences, public speaking engagements, blogging, social media, etc.)

Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified (bachelor's degree typically required, Master's / MBA beneficial)
  • Demonstrated ability for enterprise selling and strategic selling at high levels of large organizations
  • Experience selling software development services (not software products)
  • Has developed a strong network of decision-makers within large organizations in Houston, which may have potential outsourcing or technology consulting needs.
  • Additional sales or marketing qualifications centered on driving business value through the use of technology is required
  • 10 + years of real-world, technology services / enterprise sales experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, analytical, and presentation skills
  • Experience interacting with C-Level and Senior VPs, showing executive level presence and influence
  • Experience working to solve problems across business units and multiple locations.
  • Passion for sales within the technology industry
  • Ability to connect technologies with meaningful reference to architectural frameworks, solution architectures, infrastructure architectures, Cloud Computing, Web, Service Oriented Architecture and/or the Microsoft Application Platform.
  • Excellent track record of designing, executing winning sales and marketing strategies
  • Shows self-initiative in developing opportunities, leads, and engagements.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
